Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed seeds (sesame, pumpkin, sunflower, flax)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup flaxseed meal
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1 tsp garlic powder or rosemary for flavor enhancement

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mixed seeds, oats, flaxseed meal, and salt.
  3. Gradually add water while stirring until the mixture forms a thick dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Transfer the dough onto the baking sheet and roll it out between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Keep an eye on them towards the end to prevent burning.
  6. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces. Serve with hummus or your favorite spread.
