- 12 oz fresh cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, half of the Parmesan cheese, and basil; mix until smooth.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in the baking dish. Place half of the ravioli over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture and half of the mozzarella.
- Repeat layers: add more marinara, ravioli, remaining ricotta mixture, marinara sauce, and top with remaining mozzarella.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with leftover basil.
