Instructions
- Combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a small saucepan and heat until smooth, about 3‑4 minutes.
- Whisk espresso in a bowl, then stir in cooled pumpkin mixture, mascarpone, heavy cream, and vanilla; beat until forming a thick filling.
- Fold in powdered sugar to create a fluffy, dense mixture.
- Briefly dip each ladyfinger into cooled espresso; arrange them in a dish.
- Spread half of the pumpkin‑mascarpone filling over ladyfingers; repeat another layer of soaked ladyfingers and top with remaining filling.
- Dust the final surface with coffee grounds, nutmeg, and a drizzle of espresso; refrigerate a minimum of 4 hours.
- Garnish with additional nutmeg and coffee grounds before serving.
