Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti or penne pasta
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets (about 6 oz)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a separate pan over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender and bright green.
- Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining the cooked pasta. Combine drained pasta with broccoli and garlic in the pan.
- Gradually add reserved pasta water until desired creaminess is achieved. Stir in lemon juice and Parmesan cheese.
