- 4 slices thick brioche bread
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
- 4 tablespoons salted caramel sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of brioche bread evenly.
- Place one slice butter-side down in a cold skillet.
- Distribute chocolate chips evenly over the bread and drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
- Place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
- Turn the heat to medium-low and cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the sandwich carefully with a spatula.
- Cook the second side for another 3 minutes until the chocolate is melted and the bread is crisp.
- Remove from the pan, sprinkle with flaky sea salt, and let rest for one minute before slicing.
