Description

A comforting and rich pasta dish featuring browned ground beef tossed in a velvety garlic and Parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until just under al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, leaving about 1 tablespoon in the pan.
  3. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the beef broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to release the browned bits.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer on medium heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss for 1-2 minutes over low heat until the pasta is well coated.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
