- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350F (175C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until pale and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet batter until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips by hand using a spatula.
- Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
