Description

A rustic French slow-cooked stew featuring tender turkey legs and creamy white beans in a rich, savory broth.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 turkey legs
  • 3 cans (15oz) cannellini beans, rinsed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large carrots, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Season turkey legs with salt and thyme.
  2. Sear turkey legs in olive oil until browned on all sides.
  3. Place turkey, carrots, and garlic in the slow cooker.
  4. Stir in tomato paste and add rinsed beans.
  5. Pour in chicken stock until ingredients are covered.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours.
  7. Stir in butter just before serving.
