- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly browned
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter and sugar together in a large bowl.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet batter until just combined.
- Scoop 1-tablespoon sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but center is soft.
- Cool on the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
