Description

A luxurious yet quick garlic butter shrimp pasta with a zesty lemon finish. Perfectly balanced flavors and a silky sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta until 1 minute before al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear shrimp for 90 seconds per side until pink; remove from pan.
  4. Melt remaining butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 60 seconds.
  5. Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 minutes until reduced.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and 1/4 cup of reserved pasta water.
  7. Toss in pasta and shrimp; cook for 1 minute until glazed.
  8. Fold in fresh parsley and serve immediately.
