Description

A decadent fusion of buttery cookie dough, toasted pecans, and molten caramel centers. These cookies are soft-baked with a crisp edge and a rich, gooey interior.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup caramel bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips, toasted pecans, and caramel bits by hand.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
