Description

A creepy and delicious no-bake dessert featuring layers of chocolate cookie crumbs and a creamy chocolate-cream cheese mousse, decorated with candy eyes and gummy worms.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package candy eyes
  • 1 package gummy worms

Instructions

  1. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a bag using a rolling pin until you have a mix of fine crumbs and small chunks.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese in a medium bowl until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix with cold milk for two minutes, then let it stand for five minutes to thicken.
  4. Fold the beaten cream cheese and whipped topping into the thickened pudding using a spatula until well combined.
  5. Spread a thin layer of crushed cookies at the bottom of a glass bowl or individual cups.
  6. Pour the cream mixture over the cookie base and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Cover the top of the cream with the remaining crushed cookies, pressing lightly to adhere.
  8. Decorate the top by pressing candy eyes and gummy worms into the cookie layer to create a graveyard effect.
