- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning
- 8 medium flour tortillas
- 3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and 2 tablespoons of water; simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Heat a clean skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Place one tortilla in the pan, cover with a layer of cheese, and add beef to one half.
- Fold the tortilla in half and press down with a spatula.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Repeat for remaining tortillas, slice into wedges, and serve.
