- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels to ensure seasonings adhere.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Rub the herb butter mixture evenly over the entire surface of the turkey breast.
- Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the slow cooker insert.
- Place the seasoned turkey breast into the slow cooker.
- Cover with the lid and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and transfer it to a carving board.
- Let the meat rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
