Description

Crispy roasted Brussels sprouts tossed with smoky bacon and finished with a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze reduction.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise
  • 4 oz thick-cut bacon, chopped into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the halved Brussels sprouts and chopped bacon on the baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the mixture in a single layer, ensuring the flat sides of the sprouts face down.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes until the sprouts are golden brown and the bacon is crisp.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle the balsamic glaze over the sprouts, tossing to coat.
  7. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes to set the glaze, then serve immediately.
