Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, and salt in the slow cooker basin to remove lumps.
  2. Pour in the whole milk and heavy cream, whisking until the cocoa is mostly dissolved.
  3. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Stir the mixture every hour to ensure the chocolate melts evenly.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the peppermint and vanilla extracts.
