Description

Tender beef short ribs slow-cooked until they fall off the bone, finished with a rich and velvety garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef short ribs, bone-in
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Season short ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown ribs on all sides.
  3. Place browned ribs in the slow cooker.
  4. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Add minced garlic and fresh thyme sprigs to the pot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  7. Stir in heavy cream during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  8. Remove ribs and let rest for 10 minutes before serving with the sauce.
