- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir with a spatula until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the brownies completely in the pan for at least 2 hours.
- Beat softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, then mix until fluffy.
- Stir in red gel food coloring until the desired crimson shade is achieved.
- Spread the red frosting evenly over the cooled brownies using an offset spatula.
- Pipe concentric circles of melted white chocolate from the center outward.
- Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center to the edges to create the spider web pattern.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set before slicing into 16 squares.
