Description

A chilled Greek yogurt dip featuring cucumber, dill, and lemon, served beside warm pita bread for a refreshing snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 large cucumber, seeded and diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon extra‑virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice cucumber and pat dry, then let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Mash garlic lightly and combine with lemon juice.
  3. Whisk yogurt, olive oil, vinegar, dill, garlic mixture, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fold in cucumber, chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Serve with warm pita slices.
